A little bit about me...
Hello there, I'm Benjamin, a freelance photographer from West Sussex, UK.
Like many photographers, my love for taking pictures started when I was a kid, when I would love nothing more than to have my Dad's old Nikon F50 film camera around my neck, snapping anything and everything and then waiting impatiently for the films to be developed. That satisfaction I received, of capturing a moment from a unique point of view and sharing it with others, is something that has remained the same over the years and is still the driving force behind my photography today. Regardless of the subject, a good photograph is a good photograph, and I love taking them.
“Regardless of the subject, a good photograph is a good photograph, and I love taking them.”
Since turning pro in 2012, I've photographed a diverse range of subjects; from corporate/PR events to weddings, christenings and portraits as well as studio shoots for clothing brands and motor sports events - I absolutely love the variety that comes with being a photographer and genuinely look forward to every job I undertake.
I pride myself on working hard both in the field and in the digital darkroom to ensure the images I deliver are of the highest standard, and have been lucky enough to work for some brilliant clients who use me again and again - some of whom have written testimonials which you can see here.
Aside from photography, I'm a big lover of motor sport and music and I try and combine these loves with photography whenever possible.
If you'd like to have a chat about your photography requirements, whatever they may be, then please feel free to get in touch here - I'd love to hear from you.

Equipment
I generally use professional Nikon bodies and lenses and always have backups should anything go wrong with them whilst out shooting. For any specialist gear, I generally use Calumet rental services meaning that whatever the job, I always come with the right equipment to get the best shots.
When it comes to processing my images, I use a range of software, none more so than Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop and Photo Mechanic.

Studio
For work that requires it, I have access to a studio based on London's South Bank, which is perfect for portrait, product and fashion/e-commerce shoots.
Insurance
I have professional photographers public liability insurance up to a value of £1m, which can be increased to £10m should it be required.
